Genomics & Informatics Awards

We are delighted to announce the launch of the G&I Award, established by Genomics & Informatics (G&I) under the affiliation of the Korea Genome Organization (KOGO). These awards are designed to support the growth of the journal, as well as to acknowledge researchers who have made significant contributions to advancements in G&I. G&I Award Categories
  • Best Paper Award (1 recipient): Certificate and 3,000,000 KRW
  • Excellent Paper Award (2 recipients): Certificate and 2,000,000 KRW
  • Paper Award (00 recipients): Certificate and 700,000 KRW
  • Contribution Award (1 recipient): Certificate and 1,000,000 KRW
Eligibility and Evaluation Criteria for Awardees

- A. G&I Awards

  • Papers published in G&I or accepted for publication (original articles or review papers)
  • First author or corresponding author is eligible for application

- B. G&I Contribution Award

  • Individuals who have contributed to the growth of G&I through activities such as editing, reviewing and citing papers

- C. Notes

  • Papers published between January 1, 2024, and December 31, 2024, will be eligible for evaluation

    ※ ※ However, for the Contribution Award, papers published between January 1, 2023, and December 31, 2024, will be considered
  • Awardees cannot receive both G&I Awards and Contribution Awards simultaneously
  • Evaluation criteria include paper quality (40), impact (30), and journal suitability (30)
  • Awardee must be a regular member of KOGO
  • Nominator must be a regular member of KOGO (self-nomination is allowed)
Awardee Selection Process
  • Deadline for application and recommendation letter submission : January 20, 2025
  • Evaluation of awardees by the G&I Awards Committee
  • Award Ceremony is scheduled during the KOGO Winter Symposium (February 6, 2025)
